Why do you want to join the staff team? (100 words minimum) - I would like to join the staffing team as I want to engage with a different and broader community as well as developing my service skills in terms of dealing with people and leaning how to cope with bad behaviour. I want to staff on Imperium Networks as I feel I could be a valuable addition due to my previous experience with staffing, extensive knowledge of ULX commands, staying calm under pressure when things get tough and having a fun and engaging time with the community. I take pride in my work and would love to work with the staff team to create a better and more enjoyable server. 

 Why do you believe you should be chosen over other applicants? (100 words minimum) - Whilst I do not feel as though I should have an advantage over other applicants, I feel that my previous experience with staffing would allow me to work through the ranks and become a more refined staff member. I should be chosen over other applicants because of my kind and easy-to-chat nature, as well as my ability (at least at 15) to make correct and meaningful decisions without the need for someone to watch over my shoulder at all times. This means that I can take on any job for myself, and you can rest assured that rule breakers will be punished as soon as they step out of line. 

What do you think you can bring to the Imperium Staff & Management Team? (100 words minimum) - I can bring a friendly and heartwarming character to the staffing team here at Imperium Networks. My ability to handle people and make sure they leave satisfied is paramount and the player's emotions and/or experience comes first. This means that I can bring a responsible and well-trained member to the team, and you can rest assured that decisions made by me will be correct and the person(s) receiving punishment(s) will understand the rules thoroughly as I can explain all the rules in my own words, allowing who ever has broken them to more fully understand what they have done wrong.

 Any previous warns / bans explain why) - NONE

 Do you have a basic understanding of ULX commands?) - Yes as I own the ULX addons for my own private use

 Any previous staff positions on other servers?) -  I was moderator on Supremacy Networks for about 1-1.5 months. There, I learnt a lot about what it means to staff a large server and what is required of me.

Define the words below (in your own words) - 

  • RDM - the act of killing another player without a valid RP reason
  • NLR - the returning to the place of death to interfere with the current RP situation 
  • NITRP - the act of having no intention to roleplay seriously or properly; generally ruining people's experience on the server
  • FAILRP - the act of failing a RP situation (eg Keypad cracking when not raiding)
  • FEAR.RP - when a gun is pulled on you, you must value your characters life. This means that you do what is ordered from you and do not attempt to kill the person with the weapon
  • MASS RDM - the act of killing more than 3-5 people without a valid RP reason
  • MINGE - the act of being annoying or purposefully ruining people's immersion and experience (eg prop-climb, swearing)



 Give detailed explanations on how you would handle the situations below) - 

Someone has made a ticket, in this ticket they state “ I have been RDM’ed by the guy over and over” when you accept the ticket you find out after looking through logs that these two people have been killing each other over and over. How do you handle this situation? - This would require both people being punished, no matter how consentual the killing was. They would also be referred to the rule book and told that they would be Blacklisted/Banned the next time it happens. 

 Someone has joined the server as a new player and they are unfamiliar with the rules however they committed mass rdm and mass nlr unintentionally. How would you deal with this? - Depending on the situation, the person should be warned, regardless of how new they are. Then, it would be a case of referring them to the rulebooks, and telling them they can ask staff question at any time. 

 A player has joined and immediately begins to spam racial slurs in the chat and clearly has NITRP. What would you do to contain the issue? - Bring them into a sit and ask why they have NITRP, then, case-by-case, it would be a punishment and a possible mute

 A group (4 - 6) of people have joined the server (this group all being friends) and after a while they begin to mass rdm and mass raid. How do you handle the group of people?  - Suspend all the people so they cannot continue the killing, then ban/blacklist each of them one by one. 

Somebody is confused about the game and they have made a ticket “how do I play this game mode”. What would you do to help the new member of the community? - Take time out of what I am doing to assist this person in how to play the game and what all the keybinds are. Depending on how new they are, also might fund them with some money too.

 A player has reported they are being harassed, they provide evidence that another member of the community has been targeting them. How do you handle this? - This would be situational, as all staff have different outlooks on harassment, however, if the harassment is obviously bad, it would require a mute and/or kick from the server, followed by a warning.
